    TACLONEX SCALP

    BETAMETH DIP+CALCIPOTRIENE TOP(TACLONEX)

    HOW MEDICINE IS ADMINISTERED? TOP
    Use this medicine exactly as directed on the label, unless instructed differently by your doctor
    * Patient should read specific "MEDICATION GUIDE" provided with this medicine before starting treatment and each time their prescription is renewed.
    * Treatment of more than 30% of body surface area is not recommended.
    * This medication is for EXTERNAL USE only.
    * Keep this medicine away from the EYES, NOSE, MOUTH, & other mucous membranes.
    * WASH hands prior to administration.
    * WASH hands immediately after using medication.
    * OINTMENT, OIL, CREAM OR GEL: APPLY sparingly to thoroughly clean, dry skin.
    WARNINGS/PRECAUTIONS: TOP
    * Safety of use during pregnancy has not been established. This medicine SHOULD NOT BE USED DURING PREGNANCY unless benefit justifies potential risk to the fetus. CALL YOUR DOCTOR.
    * DO NOT place bandages, dressing, cosmetics, or other skin products over the affected area unless directed by your doctor.
    * Do not use on face, underarm, or groin area unless directed by doctor.
    * Notify your doctor if condition worsens or shows no improvement.
    * Do not use for more than 4 weeks unless prescribed by physician.
    * It is important that you do not stop taking your medications without consulting your doctor.
    * Keep out of reach of children.
    * Avoid taking over-the-counter (non-prescription) drugs without asking your doctor or pharmacist.
    * SPECIAL POPULATIONS:
    * Pediatric: The safety or efficacy of this medicine in pediatric patients below 18 years of age has not been established.
    * This medicine SHOULD NOT BE USED during pregnancy UNLESS the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus.
    * It is not known if this drug is excreted in breast milk. Notify your doctor if you are breastfeeding.
    Stop taking this medicine and notify your doctor AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience:
    Burning sensation; Redness; Swelling.
    Other Common Side Effects: TOP
    Headache; Skin irritation; Inflammation of the pharynx; Skin inflammation; Itching; Skin rash; Scaling of the skin; Skin redness; Dry skin; Darkening of skin; High calcium level; Flu; Upper respiratory infection; Localized pain; Inflamed hair pores; Skin pigmentation; Thinning of skin.
    Other Common Side Effects:
    If symptoms are mild but do not go away or are bothersome, check with your doctor. IF ANY OF THE ABOVE SIDE EFFECTS IS SEVERE, CALL YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY.
