    L-CARNITINE

    LEVOCARNITINE INJ. (CARNITOR INJ.)

    BEFORE USING THIS MEDICINE: Tell your doctor if you are having any of the following conditions: TOP
    SEIZURES.
    * Inform your Doctor or Pharmacist if you are allergic to any prescription or non-prescription medicine; taking other medicines or have other medical problems; pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
    * Check with your Doctor, Pharmacists, or Nurse if information in this leaflet causes you special concern or if you want additional information about your medicine and its use.
    HOW MEDICINE IS ADMINISTERED? TOP
    Use this medicine exactly as directed on the label, unless instructed differently by your doctor
    * This medicine is administered only by or under the supervision of your doctor.
    * As with all parenteral products, DO NOT USE if the solution is discolored or contains particulate matter.
    * PRESERVATIVE FREE formulation: Use each vial only once.
    WARNINGS/PRECAUTIONS: TOP
    * There are no adequate or well-controlled safety studies in pregnant women. NOTIFY YOUR DOCTOR IF PREGNANT or intend to become pregnant.
    * It is important that you keep your follow-up appointments with your doctor.
    * It is important that your doctor monitors your BLOOD STUDIES at regular intervals.
    * It is not known if this drug is excreted in breast milk. Notify your doctor if you are breastfeeding.
    * This medicine SHOULD NOT BE USED during pregnancy UNLESS the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus.
    Stop taking this medicine and notify your doctor AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience:
    Jerkings of face, trunk, or extremities.
    Other Common Side Effects: TOP
    Injection site redness or swelling; Injection site pain; Flu-like symptoms; Inflammation of the pharynx; Headache; High blood pressure; Diarrhea; Vomiting; Infection; Low blood pressure; Dizziness; Chest pain; Accidental injury; Cough; Stomach discomfort or pain; Muscle weakness; High calcium level; Nasal congestion; Back pain; Nausea; Fever; Difficulty breathing; Rapid heart rate; Anemia; High potassium level; Changes in urination frequency or amount; Irregular heartbeat; Cardiovascular irregularities; Decreased appetite; Indigestion; Hypervolemia; Swelling of the extremities; Weight loss; Depression; Itching; Burning pain, tingling, or numbness; Leg pain / cramps; Difficulty falling asleep; Bronchitis; Skin rash; Visual disturbances; Change in taste; Heart flutter; Dark,tarry stool; Weight gain; Vertigo; Inflammation of the sinuses; Urinary tract infection; Anxiety.
    Other Common Side Effects:
    If symptoms are mild but do not go away or are bothersome, check with your doctor. IF ANY OF THE ABOVE SIDE EFFECTS IS SEVERE, CALL YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY.
