    NALBUPHINE HCl INJ. (NUBAIN) discontinue

    BEFORE USING THIS MEDICINE: Tell your doctor: TOP
    If you are PREGNANT; If you are BREAST FEEDING.
    Tell your doctor if you are having any of the following conditions: TOP
    HEART CONDITION; KIDNEY DISEASE; LIVER PROBLEMS; ASTHMA.
    * Inform your Doctor or Pharmacist if you are allergic to any prescription or non-prescription medicine; taking other medicines or have other medical problems; pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
    * Check with your Doctor, Pharmacists, or Nurse if information in this leaflet causes you special concern or if you want additional information about your medicine and its use.
    HOW MEDICINE IS ADMINISTERED? TOP
    Use this medicine exactly as directed on the label, unless instructed differently by your doctor
    * This medication is usually given by injection and administered by a healthcare professional.
    * Do not DISCONTINUE this medicine ABRUPTLY after prolonged usage.
    WARNINGS/PRECAUTIONS: TOP
    * There are no adequate or well-controlled safety studies in pregnant women. NOTIFY YOUR DOCTOR IF PREGNANT or intend to become pregnant.
    * CAUTION: Do not drive or operate machinery until you are reasonably certain that this medicine will not adversely affect your ability to do so safely.
    * AVOID concurrent use of alcohol or other CNS depressants as it may intensify the drowsiness, dizziness, or lightheadedness effect of this medicine.
    * This medicine may cause dizziness, lightheadedness or fainting. Avoid sudden changes in posture. BE CAREFUL and slowly sit up or stand up.
    * Prolonged use of this medication may cause physical and psychological dependence, do not exceed recommended dose.
    * Notify doctor if you are pregnant, if pregnancy is suspected, or if you intend to become pregnant.
    * Notify your doctor if you are a nursing mother before breast-feeding your baby.
    * SPECIAL POPULATIONS:
    * Patients with Hepatic or Renal Impairment: This drug should be administered with caution.
    * Pediatric: The safety or efficacy of this medicine in pediatric patients below 18 years of age has not been established.
    Stop taking this medicine and notify your doctor AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience:
    Shortness of breath.
    Other Common Side Effects: TOP
    Drowsiness; Euphoria; Vomiting; Restlessness; Headache; Dry mouth; Low blood pressure; Blurred vision; Feeling of general discomfort; Slowness of heartbeat; Cns depression; Confusion; Constipation; Stomach or intestinal irritation; Hallucinations; Difficulty falling asleep; Itching; Contraction of the pupil; Irregular heartbeat; Sedation; Nightmares; Skin rash; Nausea; Muscle weakness.
    Other Common Side Effects:
    If symptoms are mild but do not go away or are bothersome, check with your doctor. IF ANY OF THE ABOVE SIDE EFFECTS IS SEVERE, CALL YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY.
