TIOCONAZOLE VAGINAL (VAGISTAT)

Use this medicine exactly as directed on the label, unless instructed differently by your doctor * Patient should read specific "MEDICATION GUIDE" provided with this medicine before starting treatment and each time their prescription is renewed. * For VAGINAL USE only. Insert high into vagina (except during pregnancy). Clean applicator after use with mild soap solution and rinse well with water. * To help clear up your infection completely, FINISH COURSE OF THERAPY, even if your condition has improved. * To help prevent reinfection, wear freshly laundered cotton (instead of synthetic) panties. Use sanitary napkin to prevent staining of clothing.

* Safety of use during pregnancy has not been established. This medicine SHOULD NOT BE USED DURING PREGNANCY unless benefit justifies potential risk to the fetus. CALL YOUR DOCTOR. * If severe application site reaction or irritation occurs, discontinue and check with your doctor immediately. * Patients should not engage in vaginal SEXUAL intercourse during treatment with this medicine.
