    BUDESONIDE

    BUDESONIDE INTRANASAL (RHINOCORT)

    HOW MEDICINE IS ADMINISTERED? TOP
    Use this medicine exactly as directed on the label, unless instructed differently by your doctor
    * SHAKE well before using.
    * Container must be primed prior to the first use or if not in regular use. Read "patient information" for instructions on priming the container
    * Patient should read specific "MEDICATION GUIDE" provided with this medicine before starting treatment and each time their prescription is renewed.
    * DO NOT EXCEED recommended dosage; excessive use may lead to adverse effects or loss of effectiveness. Do not adjust the dose unless instructed.
    * Notify physician if symptoms do not improve, or if they become worse.
    * Clear nasal passages of secretions prior to use. If nasal passages are blocked, use a topical nasal decongestant 5-10 minutes prior to this medicine.
    * Improvement in symptoms usually occurs within a few days. 1-2 weeks may pass before full relief. Notify physician if no improvement by the third week.
    WARNINGS/PRECAUTIONS: TOP
    * STOP TAKING MEDICINE & GET EMERGENCY HELP IMMEDIATELY IF A HYPERSENSITIVITY OR ANAPHYLACTIC REACTION occurs: (see symptoms below):-
    * shortness of breath, fast or irregular breathing, fever, joint pain, fast pulse, lightheadedness or fainting, swelling of face, hives, & itching.
    * Safety of use during pregnancy has not been established. This medicine SHOULD NOT BE USED DURING PREGNANCY unless benefit justifies potential risk to the fetus. CALL YOUR DOCTOR.
    ADVERSE REACTIONS: Stop taking this medicine and get emergency help IMMEDIATELY if you experience:
    Shortness of breath, fast or irregular breathing, fever, joint pain, fast pulse, lightheadedness or fainting, swelling of face, hives, & itching.
    Stop taking this medicine and notify your doctor AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience:
    Sneezing; Nasal irritation; Skin rash.
    Other Common Side Effects: TOP
    Dry mouth; Change in taste; Vomiting; Dry throat; Nervousness; Indigestion; Lightheadedness; Dizziness; Headache; Itching; Nausea; Inflammation of the pharynx; Cough; Nose bleeding.
    Other Common Side Effects:
    If symptoms are mild but do not go away or are bothersome, check with your doctor. IF ANY OF THE ABOVE SIDE EFFECTS IS SEVERE, CALL YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY.
