    DUTASTERIDE + TAMSULOSIN ORAL (JALYN)

    BEFORE USING THIS MEDICINE: Tell your doctor if you are having any of the following conditions: TOP
    LIVER PROBLEMS.
    * Inform your Doctor or Pharmacist if you are allergic to any prescription or non-prescription medicine; taking other medicines or have other medical problems; pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
    * Check with your Doctor, Pharmacists, or Nurse if information in this leaflet causes you special concern or if you want additional information about your medicine and its use.
    HOW MEDICINE IS ADMINISTERED? TOP
    Use this medicine exactly as directed on the label, unless instructed differently by your doctor
    * Patient should read specific "MEDICATION GUIDE" provided with this medicine before starting treatment and each time their prescription is renewed.
    * Take this medicine WITH a meal.
    * Swallow CAPSULES whole, DO NOT chew or break.
    * Your doctor should check your progress at REGULAR VISITS to make sure this medicine is working properly and to check for unwanted effects.
    WARNINGS/PRECAUTIONS: TOP
    * This medication is harmful in pregnancy. Women of child bearing age should not come in contact with this medicine.
    * Males using this medication must use a latex condom during sexual activity with women of child bearing potential.
    * DO NOT donate blood during and at least 6 months after treatment.
    * It may take 3 to 6 months before you feel the complete effect of this medication. Do Not discontinue unless advised by your doctor.
    * Because of INTERACTIONS, report the use of any other prescription or nonprescription medicines, including natural/herbal remedies, to your doctor.
    * SPECIAL POPULATIONS:
    * GERIATRIC (>65 years): No differences in the safety or efficacy were noted between the elderly and younger patients. No dose adjustment is needed.
    * GERIATRIC: No dose adjustment is needed based on age.
    * Pediatric: The safety or efficacy of this medicine in pediatric patients below 18 years of age has not been established.
    * Gender: This medicine is not indicated for women.
    * Race: Pharmacokinetic difference due to race have not been determined.
    * Patients with Hepatic Impairment: Administer with CAUTION to patients with liver disease.
    * Patients with Renal Impairment: No dosage adjustment is required.
    Other Common Side Effects: TOP
    Ejaculation dysfunction in males; Impotence; Decreased sexual desire; Enlargement of the breasts in males; Dizziness; Allerg. Reactions: rash, itch, urticaria.
    Other Common Side Effects:
    If symptoms are mild but do not go away or are bothersome, check with your doctor. IF ANY OF THE ABOVE SIDE EFFECTS IS SEVERE, CALL YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY.
