CABAZITAXEL INJ. (JEVTANA) BOXED WARNINGS: See full prescribing information for complete boxed warning. Neutropenic deaths have been reported. Obtain frequent blood counts to monitor for neutropenia. Do not give JEVTANA if neutrophil counts are .1,500 cells/mm3. Severe hypersensitivity can occur and may include generalized rash/erythema, hypotension and bronchospasm. Discontinue JEVTANA immediately if severe reactions occur and administer appropriate therapy. Contraindicated if history of severe hypersensitivity reactions to JEVTANA or to drugs formulated with polysorbate 80 BEFORE USING THIS MEDICINE: Tell your doctor if you are having any of the following conditions: TOP KIDNEY DISEASE; LIVER PROBLEMS; VOMITING; DIARRHEA. * Inform your Doctor or Pharmacist if you are allergic to any prescription or non-prescription medicine; taking other medicines or have other medical problems; pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding. * Check with your Doctor, Pharmacists, or Nurse if information in this leaflet causes you special concern or if you want additional information about your medicine and its use. HOW MEDICINE IS ADMINISTERED? TOP Use this medicine exactly as directed on the label, unless instructed differently by your doctor WARNINGS/PRECAUTIONS: TOP * This medicine is CONTRAINDICATED for use during pregnancy. CALL YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY IF PREGNANT or intend to become pregnant. * It is important that your doctor monitors your BLOOD CELL COUNTS at regular intervals. * Report to MD if you have liver or kidney problems Other Common Side Effects: TOP Abnormal blood cell count; Anemia; Abnormally low platelet count; Diarrhea; Unusual tiredness or weakness; Nausea; Vomiting; Constipation; Muscle weakness; Stomach discomfort or pain; Bloody or dark urine; Back pain; Decreased appetite; Numbness or tingling in hands and feet; Fever; Difficulty breathing; Change in taste; Cough; Joint pain; Baldness.
